Well this is my second experiment trying to upload a cropped photo and it still didn't work correctly. I remember we camped at this place that didn't have any trees, except down by some picnic tables. One of the days several of the men folk went on a long hike through the rocky ridges, became disoriented and took a very long time to return. They didn't take any supplies since they were just going for a little hike, but it ended up being a little scary when they couldn't find their way back. Jeff and Lisa made tacos for one of the dinners and they were delicious. Monday, January 4, 2010
Why do they call this Snow Canyon?

I attribute my great love of musicals to mom.....I remember when her and dad would be going out on a date (or to church meetings) that she would look on the TV guide and tell us what great movie would be on and that we should watch it on TV because it was a classic. Of course we weren't quite sure if we were going to like it or not....but mom was always insistant and knew that we would surely like it if we would just watch it.....and of course! she was always right. Great musicals....great memories....Oklahoma, King and I, South Pacific, West Side Story....to name a few. I remember mom taking me out to the movies to see Sound of Music and the first 15 minutes of the movie is ONLY MUSIC....and I kept saying....is this all there is? If so....boring....but of course there was so much more!
Then mom would buy Evelyn and I the piano music for these great musicals and then we would learn to play the songs and sing along and sing and sing....what great memories!!!!Thanks mom....

Fun memories of celebrating our 20th anniversary in Florida, going to Disneyworld including the Tower of Terror twice. Steve and Jamie wore matching shirts most days, so romantic. I think this was our first vacation with just adults. We played Spades in the hotel at least one night. We had kitchenettes and neighboring rooms to go and relax for a little while when afternoon got too hot. We ate dinner at a chinese restaurant out of the park and at a French restaurant in the Epcot center.
new pics

Saw some old pics and thought they would be interesting to look at.
I was not sure the picture of the family was all ready been posted. I thought mom would like an old picture of Sis Blades. Leslie would then take my missionary pictures. Working at Fidler's Elbow made sure of a dark suntan. Who is playing the piano?
