I remember that mom did not like to have her picture taken. Somehow she would not have her smile come out too perfect, or more accurate her eyes would be shut. One thing for sure was that we were lucky that mom put dates on the back of the photos. I found a few photos to scan in. The sink was our house on Bartine. You can tell by the backsplash.

School Days

First Day of School. Andy seems to be straining under the weight of the school bag. I apparently don't need many school supplies. This must have been in Long Island so I was going to Kindergarten--maybe I didn't need a lunch, hence just the small bag. I don't really remember this day, but from the smile on my face I'm sure I was excited to finally go to school. Mom did a good job getting these cute photos! Thank goodness Joel was staying home with Mom so she didn't have to be alone!
