Cheryl and I at the airport getting ready to fly to BYU for my first semester. The whole family was at the airport for the big and sad (for me) send off. Susan Gibson was there too I remember. I wasn't too happy to go! I called Dad the end of my first semester and told him that I wanted to come home at Christmas and STAY home. That I could help out at home and do more good than being at college. He convinced me that I would not be happy staying at home. thank goodness mom and dad didn't let me do that!!!

August 1975 - Off to BYU!
Cheryl and I at the airport getting ready to fly to BYU for my first semester. The whole family was at the airport for the big and sad (for me) send off. Susan Gibson was there too I remember. I wasn't too happy to go! I called Dad the end of my first semester and told him that I wanted to come home at Christmas and STAY home. That I could help out at home and do more good than being at college. He convinced me that I would not be happy staying at home. thank goodness mom and dad didn't let me do that!!!
